The design and aesthetic of this private
residence is a reflection of both it's
semi-industrial context and the particular
geometry of the site. The two-storey element of
the building was partially sunk below ground
level, with the resulting change in level being
utilised in section to create complex
relationships between the living volumes and
external spaces
