Bar Refurbishment :: Dublin

The brief called for a more relaxed and luxurious space giving an alternative experience to the garish and rushed feeling of the street outside. This was achieved by sourcing a limited number of materials appropriate for a bar environment. All internal surfaces of the existing bar were stripped back to form a clearly defined floor plan with a behind bar focus, formed by illuminated bottle storage and framed by a monolithic black tiled bar counter with white ceiling downstand. The elevation to the street was opened up as much as possible and a mixture of clear and coloured full height glazing was introduced.
